Promotion!
Felixstowe 1st XI have gained promotion to division three of the Marshall Hatchick Two Counties league. With the return of Mark Jones as first team captain, the club have been able to bring in new blood to the one's. The knock on effect has strengthened the 2nd team who have just missed out on promotion this year from Div 7.
Last years promotion winners from division four have both gone straight up from three to two for next season. Felixstowe will be looking to do the same, and there is no reason why they shouldn't be able to do this with or without strengthening further.
Felixstowe out of Suffolk Cup at semi-final stage
Felixstowe battled hard against a strong Bury St Edmunds side to lose the game in the last over. Felixstowe set 218 and were bowled out in the 40th over in the 50 over a side competition. Only three wickets were managed as Bury's Ben France and Chris Warn both scored big 50's. the wickets were taken by Tan Shahid and Ben Connell.
